Just posted and got this error message:
Quote:

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 421 smtp1.servage.net Error: too many recipients from 77.232.80.10

DEBUG MODE

Line : 165
File : smtp.php

my post still went on to the thread in the end.

It's people watching threads. So when you post, the board tries to send an email to those watching it.

If the smtp server is choked up, it throws an error. It's not unusual and nothing to worry about. Your post still gets submitted, regardless.

Too many people, some who no longer visit here are watching topics causing the jam.

I am going to clear out all topics being watched. If you need to watch a topic, set it up again. Thanks.

Hey Sanj -

Just wondering... Why is the A1GP News on the F1 News board? Surely it should go under 'Other Motorsport'?

Not complaining - just a query....

Regards,

It's mainly pitpass that does that. Unlike auotsport, pitpass's newsfeed is GP2, F1 and A1GP combined. But it's a good site, so I have kept the feed on anyway.

Incidentally there is a seperate newsfeed in the other Motorsport section which covers GP2, MotoGP, A1GP etc., It's the announcement topic at the top of the Other Motorsport forum.

No problem, that's what I am here for. If you get invalid sessions in the future log out from both here and the main site..

Log back in on the main site and you'll find yourself automatically logged into both there and the forums..

Hey Sanj - What gives?

I keep getting kicked out with the following message after a few minutes of being logged on....

phpBB : Critical Error

Error updating sessions table

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 2013 Lost connection to MySQL server during query

UPDATE phpbb_users SET user_session_time = 1216200306, user_session_page = 0 WHERE user_id = 7

Line : 417
File : sessions.php

And then find it difficult to log on again....

Are there any problems with the site?

Regards,

Yeah, been fighting with the hosting company because the site seems to frequently lose it's database connection..

I have given them an ultimatum..Otherwise I am gonna switch to a more reliable server..

Yeah, all the sigs are pointing to "sportgrids" while they should point to "sportgrids".

I'll run a script which should sort it out..

Can as many of you as possible answer this question? Did you get an email about this place?

Yeah my mass email feature was timing out, so had no idea who got emails and who didn't..

Sorry for the repeat emails, but I could not inform people beforehand because I had to move files at a very short notice, or there was a risk of losing the forum posts.

Your pages are being served up from a proxy then which is not very good at checking updated site content.....

Nothing you or I can do about it.
